SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions explain the service-related text messaging program offered by Cloud 9 Window Cleaning & Power Washing (“Cloud 9,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By voluntarily selecting Yes to receive text messages from Cloud 9, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.

Program Description

Cloud 9 uses text messaging to communicate with people who have requested an estimate or service and have voluntarily selected Yes to receive service-related SMS messages.

Messages may include:

    • Communications regarding an estimate request
  • Estimate notifications and follow-ups
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmations
  • Appointment reminders
  • Technician arrival or “on the way” notifications
  • Questions relating to a requested or scheduled service
  • Changes or updates regarding an appointment or service
  • Customer-service communications relating to an estimate or service

This SMS consent does not include mass marketing campaigns, discount announcements, or promotional text-message campaigns.

How You Opt In

Customers may opt in through Cloud 9’s online estimate request form by:

    1. Providing a mobile phone number;
    2. Reviewing the SMS consent disclosure;
  • Selecting Yes to receive text messages; and
  1. Submitting the estimate request form.

The SMS question provides separate Yes and No choices. A customer may select No and still submit an estimate request or purchase services.

The selection is not intended to be preselected on the customer’s behalf. The customer must make the choice voluntarily.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing services.

Twilio requires a voluntary opt-in that allows a person to decline SMS consent while still completing the primary action, such as requesting an estimate.  

Types of Messages Covered by Your Consent

Your consent applies only to service-related communications concerning your estimate request, appointment scheduling, reminders, and service updates.

It does not authorize messages on unrelated subjects.

It also does not authorize Cloud 9 to send mass texts advertising special offers, discounts, or additional services. Any future promotional SMS program would use a separate consent method appropriate for promotional messaging.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies.

The number of messages you receive will depend on:

  • Your estimate request
  • Whether you respond to an estimate
  • Appointment scheduling or rescheduling
  • Appointment reminders
  • Technician arrival communications
  • Questions or updates concerning your requested service
  • Customer-service communications between you and Cloud 9

You may receive several messages while an estimate or appointment is active. At other times, you may receive no messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile telephone plan.

Cloud 9 does not charge a separate fee for receiving its service-related text messages. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about your message or data plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out at any time by replying:

STOP

or

END

After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that your request has been processed. No additional SMS messages will be sent under the applicable messaging program unless you later provide new consent.

Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from:

  • Calling Cloud 9
  • Emailing Cloud 9
  • Requesting an estimate
  • Scheduling or purchasing services
  • Receiving communications through another method you have authorized

Supported Carriers and Message Delivery

Text messaging may be available through participating United States wireless carriers. Availability may vary by carrier, mobile plan, device, location, and network conditions.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cloud 9 cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered because delivery may be affected by carrier systems, service interruptions, device settings, network availability, telephone-number changes, or other circumstances outside our control.

Your Responsibilities

By opting in, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to use the mobile phone number you provided
  • The information you provided is accurate
  • You are able to consent to receive messages at that number
  • You will notify us or opt out if you stop using or controlling the number

Mobile telephone numbers may be reassigned to other users. If you change or discontinue your number, please notify Cloud 9 or reply STOP before discontinuing the number when reasonably possible.

Privacy and Mobile Information

Your privacy is important to us.

Cloud 9 does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information and SMS consent may be processed by companies necessary to operate Cloud 9’s own text messaging and customer-service systems, including ResponsiBid, The Customer Factor, Twilio, and participating telecommunications providers. These companies may use the information only to provide services for Cloud 9 or as otherwise required by law.

Cloud 9 does not permit these service providers to use your mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing campaigns.

No Marketing Consent Through This Program

Selecting Yes on Cloud 9’s estimate request form authorizes service-related text messages only.

It does not authorize Cloud 9 to send:

  • Mass scheduling solicitations
  • Seasonal advertising campaigns
  • Special-offer announcements
  • Discount promotions
  • Unrelated advertising
  • Marketing messages on behalf of another company

Cloud 9 would obtain separate consent before enrolling a person in any future promotional text-message program.

Changes to the SMS Program or These Terms

Cloud 9 may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of its SMS program.

We may also update these SMS Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services, systems, business practices, or legal requirements.

The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. A material change in the subject matter of the SMS program may require new consent rather than relying on consent previously provided for service-related communications.
